ARC Entertainment Signs On-Demand Contract With Rentrak

Rentrak Corporation (NASDAQ: RENT), the leader in multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising, television and entertainment industries, today announced an OnDemand Essentials contract with ARC Entertainment.ARC Entertainment provides brand marketing, retail strategy, physical distribution and sales services for consumer products, with an emphasis on entertainment-based products. ARC Entertainment recently released Ironclad and John Carpenter’s The Ward on VOD. Upcoming VOD releases include the Sarah Palin documentary The Undefeated and Bunraku starring Josh Hartnett, Woody Harrelson, Demi Moore and Ron Perlman.
“With the growth of independent film, ARC Entertainment is offering our own movies-on-demand service and it is essential to have timely and insightful performance reporting in order to drive usage and revenue, especially given the competitive on-demand platform,” said Rich Goldberg, president, ARC Entertainment.
“Signing Arc Entertainment underscores the growing trend of movies-on-demand networks recognizing the importance of subscribing to the census-based OnDemand Essentials service to accurately and granularly measure their content. “Bunraku” DVD & Blu-ray release will be pushed back from August to October 3rd, 2011. This is probably because “Bunraku” now has a September theatrical and VOD release.”

Josh Hartnett kicks some ass in the official BUNRAKU trailer

Alright, there is no denying that fact that the newly release official BUNRAKU trailer is pretty damn awesome and neat. We’ve seen some of the clips before in the unofficial teaser.
Anyways, let’s bring back the good old synopsis again:
A mysterious drifter (Josh Hartnett) and an ardent young Japanese warrior Yoshi (Gackt) both arrive in a town that has been terrorized by outrageous and virulent criminals. Each is obsessed with his separate mission, and guided by the wisdom of The Bartender (Woody Harrelson) at the Horseless Horseman Saloon, the two eventually join forces to bring down the corrupt and contemptuous reign of Nicola (Ron Perlman), the awesomely evil “woodcutter” and his lady Alexandra (Demi Moore), a femme fatale with a secret past.
This classic tale is re-vitalized and re-imagined in an entirely fresh visual context, set in a unique world that mixes skewed reality with shadow-play fantasy, a place where even the landscape can betray you. Josh Hartnett and Sophia city-sightings

Josh Hartnett and girlfriend Sophia Lie were spotted taking a midday stroll in NYC yesterday. The pair tried to cool off during the heat wave in cutoff shorts and t-shirts. Their walk came just ahead of Josh Hartnett’s 33rd birthday today! The festivities kicked off last night with a guys’ night out at the restaurant Rubirosa. Josh and Sophia rang in his special day while in Italy last year, enjoying a bikini- and shirtless- filled getaway in Ischia.

Josh Hartnett met his guy friends for Italian food at Rubirosa in New York’s Nolita neighborhood. The actor introduced himself to the hostess and was immediately escorted to a back table. “Josh was pretty upbeat,” an onlooker says. “He was joking around and just having fun with his friends.”

Hey all! In efforts to stay contemporary, I have now made a TWITTER and FACEBOOK page for LuckyNumberJosh.com. So, if you have an account follow those pages! Or… if you don’t have an account, it’s about time you made one and then follow the pages.
There will be more changes coming to the site, which I hopefully will be able to complete before the summer ends.
I will post frequently in the LNJ twitter page. In addition to the updates I would post here on the actual site, I will also tweet short updates/news/pics/videos that are not newsworthy for the actual site.
As for the Facebook page, posts updates will be available through the FB status updates (as an easier way to follow the LNJ blog without actually going to the site to check for updates). Also, I will upload pictures that will not be uploaded in the LNJ Gallery. These pictures would most likely be fan-taken pictures and hopefully, you guys will also contribute and upload pictures of your own.
