Old Vic’s 24 hour play
December 15th, 2009 | Posted by Annie |
Josh took part in the 24-hour play at the Old Vic last year in November while he was in London performing “Rain Man”. The 24-hour play is an annual fundraiser where actors, writers and directors join forces to create and present a series of six plays all within a day.
Thanks to Jocelyn for the find. Here are 3 clips of Josh at the event – a news coverage, an interview and a rehearsal snippet. To download the video, click on the thumbnail below:

And pictures of Josh at the Gala Party that I posted last year in the Picture Gallery:

And once again procastination got the better of me… I also made a cute gif of Josh from the video, click here to view!
Anyways.. I shall get back to studying. Good luck to those who also have finals right now.

The Pusan International Film Festival began yesterday and many big names attended the opening ceremony.
Here is Josh arriving with Lee Byung Hun at the Pusan International Airport yesterday:

And found this… I assume this will take place tomorrow:
On Friday at 1 p.m., actors Lee Byung-hun, Josh Hartnett and Takuya Kimura will meet fans through the Open Talk event at PIFF Village, Haeundae. The three actors from Korea, the United States and Japan, respectively, are expected to create much hype as they discuss their movie “I Come With the Rain.”

“I come with the rain” Japan Interview
June 7th, 2009 | Posted by Annie |
There are some new videos of Josh with Takuya Kimura and Lee Byung Hun doing press for ICWTR on a Japanese TV channel. The interview and commentary is mainly in Japanese, except for Lee Byung Hun speaking in Korean and of course Josh in English.
Watch it on youtube:

+ Link 4 [Proceed]
I also made a downloadable version on the VIDEO ARCHIVE site:

A little highlight from the interview:
Kimura-san had asked Byunghun-ssi how does he memorize his scripts? BH’s reply was that he never memorizes the lines by heart as he will instead analyze the character he’s playing and the background of the plot which will automatically help him better to convey his acting.
BH was very serious in thinking for a good question to ask Josh Hartnett and that’s why he took such a long time to ask the question. After taking quite awhile to respond, Byunghun-ssi’s question to Josh was when the latter will get married. JH answered, “nope, not for awhile as he hasn’t found the right girl”.
Josh in return asked Kimura-san who is the his most favourite American actor and TK answered Sean Penn whom Josh agreed as well. He then proceed to ask Takuya’s fave American co-star that he had worked with. This question has prompted a big laugh from Byunghun-ssi because the answer would be so obvious. ^^
In the end, the interviewer asked the boys what is the “cross” that they are carrying on their backs now? (meaning the burden/responsibility they carry now). BH’s reply was as age grows, the feeling of being a responsible man is also growing. TK’s reply was as a member of SMAP, they have to continue more team spirit. Josh’s reply was to get through the interview without saying anything that will “haunt” his career later.

Another Supa Asian Post on ICWTR
May 29th, 2009 | Posted by Annie |
I’m not quite sure why the world premiere for ICWTR is only mainly covered by Asian news, still no sign of any official pictures release. But a fan uploaded the entire coverage of the premiere from a Japanese TV channel.
Unfortunately, there are no subs, but there are quite a few clips of Josh. Josh made a little joke about the large amount of female fans who attended the premiere: “Girls and boys… no, it’s pretty much all girls.. okay, thank you for coming out, girls!” (LOL). Josh was pretty smiley and seemed to get along with the rest of the cast. The video also included some new clips from the film.

I made some screencaptures of Josh-shu Hart-ta-net-toh:

Here are some tidbits of a fan’s account of the event (it’s in English):
We were then given each an umbrella each, and it looked like one of those umbrellas you buy at the 100 yen shop, and had to motif of a “X” and an “I come with Rain “ thing printed on it. There were 5 different colours, Pink, Green, Blue, Yellow and White.
At the end of the event, just for the TV cameras, the actors were to yell, “I come with the …..” and we were supposed to answer “RAIN!!” and lift our umbrellas.
