Get ready for an uber long post! Josh attended the Ischia Global Film & Music Fest in Ischia, Naples, Italy. It is a film festival that originated  from Los Angeles and celebrates global cinema, music and arts in Italy. Congratulations to Josh who received the Ischia Acting Award!

Following to the great success of the 5th Annual Los Angeles, Italia – Film, Fashion and Art Fest, at Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, the Ischia Global Film Fest 2010 will showcase today’s International and Italian Movies as well as Documentaries, Shorts and Video Clips. The Talented Actors Margherita Buy And Josh Hartnett To Receive The 2010 Ischia Acting Awards
Ischia (Naples), June 26, 2010 – Margherita Buy and the American Josh Hartnett will receive the Ischia Acting Award, an Ischia International Arts Academy award given to the protagonists of World Cinema. ”We wanted to honor a young lady of Italian cinema, with more than 40 fillm assets and an impeccable career during which she was directed by many of the best Italian directors, Salvatores, Pigeons, Rubini, Ozpetek, Faenza and many others” announced Giancarlo Carriero. ” Along with her, a true Hollywood star that has always made alternative choices from big blockblusters to small independent productions such as The Faculty, The Virgin Suicides, O as Othello, Lucky Number Slevin, 30 Days of Night”. Margherita Buy has just finished filming the highly anticipated film Habemus Papam. Josh Hartnett will pair with Demi More in the movie Bunraku. The Ischia Global Film & Music Fest, the most popular Summer Film & Music Event in Italy, is co-produced by the non-profit Ischia International Arts Academy with the Naples (Italy) Board of Tourism and with the special support of the European Union, the Campania Region Board of Tourism and Cultural Assets and the D.G. Cinema – Italian Ministry of Culture. The event will host the major protagonists of cinema and music, with screenings, round table discussions and meetings aimed at fostering the growth of Italian and European industry in the world market.
